In new normal customer focus & PPE awareness is the key?

Mr. Arpan Jani, Vice President – Sales, Venus Safety & Health Pvt Ltd talks about focus areas for Venus this year for OSH in India, new products and solutions to launch this year, insights from OSH challenges faced by organizations due to the pandemic and how their solutions have helped alleviate those challenges, and the changes in OSH strategy organizations should make to ensure progress in the ‘new normal.’

1. What are the focus areas for Venus this year for OSH in India?

Our focus will be on creating awareness on PPEs, strengthen customer relationship, value added services to customers etc.

2. What new products and solutions you plan to launch this year?

Venus will be to introducing new products in respiratory protection as well as new range of eyewear & helmet in upcoming year.

3. Any insights from OSH challenges faced by organizations due to the pandemic and how your solutions have helped alleviate those challenges?

During the pandemic there were many challenges starting from lock down including raw material availability, Increase cost at all fronts, logistics, demand was more than supply etc. However, in short time we manage to overcome all the challenges by making long term contracts with our vendors to bring stability.

4. What changes in the OSH strategy should various organizations make to ensure progress in the ‘new normal’?

In new normal customer focus & PPE awareness is a key, all the organization involve in PPE business should ensure to reach to customer to understand their requirement & provide the suitable solutions considering covid appropriate behavior.
