As an innovator of connected safety devices, Blackline Safety’s endeavour is to bring to the Indian industry:

  • State of the art connected safety devices; primarily lone worker devices, single and multi-gas detectors, and area monitors. The future of safety is IoT based connected devices and Blackline, as an innovator in this space, is proud to bring these features to India.
  • The portable gas detection space has been stagnated with little innovations over the past two decades. Blackline will bring into India these much-awaited innovations in the connected safety space that the industry has been long awaiting.
  • A device that works alongside the Indian Safety Manager to ensure complete safety of his employees. Connected safety will ensure rapid deployment of rescue services and save lives.

These connected devices, coupled with our safety software, data analytics and reporting, risk mitigation and operational efficiency, allow us to pivot and adapt quickly to changing market needs.

Please tell us about your organization and its objectives to promote Safety in Indian organisations.

Blackline’s connected safety solutions include a network of cloud-connected devices, including lone worker devices, single and multi-gas detection wearable devices and area monitors that, when coupled with our online Blackline Live dashboard, deliver real-time visibility into the safety status and location of workers. Insights gathered from Blackline Analytics can be used to take proactive steps to improve safety, enhance performance and manage compliance.

Blackline Safety’s G7 wearables are changing the game in the industry – offering the huge advantage of instant, real-time connectivity which allows you to locate any team member, in any location, at any time using GPS or cellular connectivity. Add features such as two-way voice communications and your workers have a solid lifeline that automatically connects to the cloud, without the need for Wi-Fi or network set-up to start doing its job.

The Indian industry is going to see a revolutionary change with the concept of connected safety, and Blackline is eager to bring these to the Indian customer.

Which industry verticals do you focus on the most with your solutions?

While connected safety is going to be the future for every vertical in the coming years, Blackline has already achieved rapid success with many key accounts across the Oil & Gas, Energy, Metal & Utilities industries, where we will keep our initial focus.

What are your plans for further expansion in India in future?

Blackline has long-term aspirations to be a leading connected safety player in India. Our short-term goals are to create a countrywide distributor network throughout India and to build relationships. We would also like to lay an emphasis on our rental services wherein our customers can rent our equipment on weekly/monthly basis so they’re able to experience the benefits of connected safety. For this purpose, Blackline intends to have rental equipment readily available in India for quick deployment.

In a nutshell, Blackline will soon establish as a leading connected safety player in the Indian marketspace, where customers will move from using conventional gas detection equipment to connected safety. Blackline Safety will be in the forefront of this revolution that will make India’s workplaces safer.
