1. Please tell us about Ketty Apparels’ focus areas for 2020. We manufacture workwear across various industry verticals. This year we plan to add more valuable features to our offerings and educate people to use our various products for their workplace activities.
2. Which safety products are you going to launch and promote this year?
We provide a wide range of fire-retardant garments, specially finished water-repellant garments, anti-microbial garments. All are sold under the ‘Indiform’ brand. In addition, anti-static garments are a new category of garments we have brought in the workwear segment.
3. What innovations in safety workwear can we expect to see this year?
High-visibility garments are the new additions to the range of workwear garments we offer. We also work with the Government of India in manufacturing bullet-proof garments.
4. Which industries you plan to aggressively target to increase the outreach of your products?
Petroleum, electric utilities, steel, cement and various other manufacturing industries are the ones we target among others. We also provided Teflon-coated workwear for hotel industry. We aim to educate industry stakeholders with informative catalogs which we circulate through dealer networks and channel partners abroad.
5. Your views on the OSH India Expo and the work done by it in enhancing awareness around safety.
It is a good expo and for the 2020 edition we plan to increase our scale of participation. However, we believe two days is less and given the size of the Expo it should be extended to three days. This would provide us enough time in addressing people’s queries related to workwear and help us demonstrate more products at our stall. We can also have more dealers coming to the Expo and have a look at our products.
